Flattered you think so, but no! We are a private hand therapy practice in Vancouver BC. However most of our staff are well-connected to and have experience working at VGH and other local hospitals.
Is hand therapy covered by MSP?
Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services are not covered by MSP here in British Columbia. Clients typically pay out of pocket or via their private health insurance.
Where can I park?
There is underground pay parking in the Hycroft building as well as street pay and 2-hour free parking nearby.
Should I book with a Physiotherapist or an Occupational Therapist?
Certified Hand Therapists can be either Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists. In either case, they have completed post-graduate training and studied to pass an international hand therapy certification exam. You will find us fairly consistent in how we practice but with variability - check out our bios in the “Team” section.
If you’re using your insurance, make sure you check that you’re covered for whom you’d like to book with.
